Maailman Kauneimmat Joululaulut (2009)

In 2009 Tarja recorded three songs for the finnish christmas album "Maailman Kauneimmat Joululaulut" ("The most beautiful christmas songs"). Beside Tarja you can hear Jari Sillanpää, Irina, Veeti Kallio, Maria Lund and Mikko Kuustonen on the album. They perform traditional Christmas songs as new versions with Olli Ahvenlahti´s acoustic orchestra and Cantores Minores choir accompaniment. The album was exclusively released in Finland on november 18th, but you can order it at Tarja's official webshop.

Tarja sings in three songs: Maa On Nin Kaunis, Heinillä Härkien and Arkihuolesi Kaikki (duet with Veeti Kallio). All three songs were realesed on a single at the beginning of september.

My Winter Storm (2007)

Tarja's first solo album was released on november 16th in Germany and a few days and weeks later it will also be released in many other countries. The first single is called "I walk alone" and the video for it was shot at "Teufelssee" in Berlin this summer. The video contains all the main characters you will also find on the album: The dead boy, the Phoenix, the Doll and the Ice Queen.
Tarja worked with many talented and known musicians (eg Hans Zimmer's team) for her solo debut and recorded it in different places like Ibiza or Ireland. Tarja wrote and composed the song "Oasis" and also helped with Ciaran's Well.
MWS debuted as #1 on the finnish album charts, which shows that Tarja doesn't has to worry about her solo career.
To test a possible line-up for her MWS tour, she sets up a "warm-up" tour, which will take place in various european countries at the end of the years 2007. The warm-up tour will be extremely fan-friendly, because everybody is allowed to bring cameras along and take pictures.

Christmas Album "Henkäys Ikuisuudesta" (2006)

Tarja's christmas album "Henkäys Ikuisuudesta" will be released on 08.11.2006. You can see a few pictures from the studio work in the Extended Gallery. The first single of the album is called "You would have loved this". The tracklist of the album is also revealed:

Schiller "Tag und Nacht" (2005)

In late 2005 the album "Tag und Nacht" by german pop/dance project Schiller was released. The special version of the album contains one song where Tarja is featured. The song is called "Tired of being alone". This song is worth listening if you just care about Tarja's voice, because she sings alone on the whole song.

Martin Kesici "Leaving you for me" (2005)

In february 2005 the song "Leaving you for me" by Martin Kesici was released. It was the first single of his album "So What...?!". As a special guest he asked Tarja to sing on this song and so did she. You can download song, video and lyrics at TTE.

Noche Escandinavia II (2004)

Because Noche Escandinavia I was quite successful and appreciated by a lot of people, Tarja participated in Noche Escandinavia II. One of the shows has been recorded for a CD. You can order the cd from Tarja's webshop. Tarja sang together with: Marjut Paavilainen and Juha Koskela.

Noche Escandinavia I (2002)

Noche Escandinavia is a project from the classical singers Tarja Turunen, Ingvild Storhaug, Marjut Paavilainen and Izumi Kawakatsu. It was initiated as a little tour in countries such as Chile and Argentina. They played classical pieces by scandinavian, german and austrian artists. The programme of the shows looked like this:

Beto Vazquez (2001)

In 2001 argentinian musician Beto Vazquez released his album "Infinity". As guest singers he got Sabine Edelsbacher (Edenbridge) and Tarja.

Evankeliumi (1999)

In 1999 Tarja participated in he finnish rock/metal opera "Evankeliumi". This opera was created by the finnish band Waltari. You couldn't see her often during the show, but the few times you could, were really worth it. Not at least because of her outfit ;)
