The title – eaglescry.de

Eaglescry is taken from the song „Creek Mary's Blood“ (...And the eagle's cry...). Since I heard the song for the first time this expression was stuck in my head. And in the end I knew why, its purpose would be to my website's name.

Why are there some really stupid spelling mistakes?

LOL because I have a lot of written text material on my site and sometimes the amount of words in a text is so big that I don't see some mistakes I did while typing the text so quickly. Like we say in Germany "Sometimes you don't see the forest, because there are so many trees." :)

New pictures in the gallery (without an update).

Sometimes it happens that pictures appear on the net just seconds after I did my last newspost. In this case I don't wanna spam my own website and usually present those new pictures in my next newspost ;) I also don't make newsposts about single or small picture uploads.

Why is the layout in the sidebars messed up?

I used a new coding tool/script for the sidebars, so that you can easily switch between NW and Tarja content. If you have an older version of a browser it might be that it can't view the sidebars correctly. In that case I suggest you to update your browser ;)

Why don't you offer Tarja media files?

Because there are at least two really big Tarja fansites, which offer every Tarja media file ever recorded. So imo it's a waste of serverspace to upload exactly the same material again.

Why are there ads on the site?

Because I need to pay for my website somehow. You see, it's non-profit and I am paying for everything. I don't earn anything with it. They only thing, which could financially support me are donations and ads. I hope you understand. But I am trying to keep the ads to a minimum and I also tried to place them somewhere, where they're not disturbing your browsing experience on my website.

Do you offer projects for NW or Tarja?

No, at the moment not. I organized one project last year, but imo the effort of all the participants and me wasn't appreciated enough. That's why I don't really feel the urge at the moment to do such a big thing again.

Are you in contact with NW or Tarja?

No, I am not. But if you seek direct contact, you could try to email King Foo (Nightwish Management) or Marcelo (Tarja's manager and husband).

Can I send you fanarts, concert pictures, etc?

Yes, that would be highly appreciated. Due to my current lack of serverspace, I can't put non exclusive (stuff you can already find at other websites) media online :(

Who do you accept as affiliates?

To be accepted as an affiliate you should have a regularly updated website. It doesn't have to be ultra HQ, but it shouldn't hurt when you look at it ;P You won't get accepted if your website contains racist material or other meterial, which I can't ethically tolerate. Your website does not need to be NW or Tarja related to get linked.

How do I become an elite affiliate?

You will be added as a regular affiliate UNLESS you required earlier to become an elite affiliate. To become an elite affiliate you have to grant me an equal affiliation status on your website. Your advantage as an elite affiliate is that your link is all time visible on the sidebar and marked as "elite". To be accepted as an "Elite Affiliate" your site should be HQ(!!!), frequently updated and in english (except for fanclubs or special friends of mine). Besides that your site has to be special, which means that I can't just add everybody and anyone. Sorry.

You didn't reply to my request as an affiliate...

Well, if you filled out the contact form on my website or wrote me an email, I didn't did not reply to you on purpose. In this case, please write me again! It sometimes happens that an email gets lost or I forget about it, since I am quite busy at the moment. I apologize for that!!
If you just wrote your link down in the shoutbox or the comment field below the news, I didn't reply to you on purpose. And that for a good reason. In my opinion it's a matter of good manners to write a little message about becoming affiliates. If you just drop that link without any further comments I think that it's quite rude and I won't reply. If you want me to reply, please write me little, but meaningful message and we might have a deal ;)
